Pumps

Reliable transfer and dosing

IWAKI MD Pump

Magnetic drive pumps

Magnetic drive pumps are often used for transferring wort, beer, and cleaning solutions because they are efficient and can handle large volumes.

Iwaki's magnetic drive process pumps are engineered to perform reliably even under challenging operating conditions. The precise arrangement of high-power rare earth magnets, coupled with well-dimensioned compensating areas, significantly reduces the wear on the contact surfaces of the impeller unit in both the front and rear pump areas. This design makes the pump highly wear-resistant and almost maintenance-free. Additionally, this approach prevents damage or deformation of the wet plastic parts due to high frictional heat.

Air operated diaphragm pumps

Used for gentle handling of liquids like yeast or other sensitive ingredients, with specific models designed for food and beverage applications, ensuring that all materials are food-grade and easy to clean.

Specifically designed to be used in process type liquid transfer applications and offer various engineered design features enabling efficient high performance liquid transfer & high operational reliability. They can be easily and quickly serviced and maintained even without pulling the pump from the process line.

Gear pumps

Suitable for viscous fluids like syrups or heavy wort

The GM-V causes no pulsation of liquid in high-speed operation. Discharge is proportional to the pump’s rpm speed, which can be precisely controlled by an inverter (frequency converter), thereby allowing liquid metering, transfer and other treatments.

Dosing & metering pumps

Iwaki dosing & metering pumps can enhance precision and control in various brewing processes, helping maintain product quality and operational efficiency.

Iwaki dosing pumps are known for their precision, reliability, and chemical resistance, making them suitable for various applications in brewing, especially in dosing chemicals, additives, and cleaning agents. Here are some Iwaki dosing pumps that can be used in brewing.
EWN-Y series
Dosing of acids or additives during brewing
LK Series
Larger-scale chemical dosing, such as conditioning agents.
LK
IX series
Accurate dosing such as flavouring agents & hops extracts
IX
EH-E series
Dosing concentrated acids and cleaning solutions
